About The Jewish Home

Board of Directors

The Jewish Home is a non-profit facility governed by a highly dedicated Board of Directors from our surrounding communities. In Fairfield, Connecticut, our Bennett, Tandet and Kuriansky Pavilions provide an environment of care enriched by art and architecture.

The Home's medical staff is nationally recognized for teaching and quality assessment programs. We are proud to be one of the few nursing homes approved by the Connecticut State Medical Society to grant physicians continuing education credits. Education and training are regularly provided to all clinical staff ensuring that the latest in treatment approaches are integrated components of service delivery.

Consistent with Jewish values and traditions, the Mission of The Jewish Home is to provide to primarily Jewish seniors the healthcare, housing and community-based services required to achieve the highest quality of life attainable.

The Home strives to continually enhance the medical, social and emotional well-being of those who choose us for life care services. We are proud to have over 750 employees committed to carrying out the Home’s mission of excellence.

The Home follows traditional Jewish observances. Food prepared in the Home is strictly Kosher. The Home's Director of Pastoral Services is a key member of the Home’s Leadership Team. On-site rabbinical training programs are established with Yeshiva University and The Jewish Theological Seminary, Shabbat and Holiday services are held in our beautiful synagogue and on our residential units enabling spiritual involvement for all. The Director of Pastoral Services coordinates programs with community clergy to offer everyone opportunities for spiritual expression.
