The Jewish Home Men’s Club Golf and Tennis Invitational Co-Chairs: Steve Moskowitz, of Easton, President of the Men’s Club, and Stewart Gross, of Westport.
On June 23, 2008, golfers and tennis players will support the important work of the Men’s Club while participating in the
22nd Annual George Lipton Golf and Tennis Invitational at Rolling Hills Country Club in Wilton. Co-chaired by Dr.
Stewart Gross, of Easton, President of the Men’s Club, and Dr. Stephen Moskowitz, of Westport, Past President of
the Men’s Club, this annual event raised over $100,000 last year.
"This year we are especially pleased to welcome a new Tournament Sponsor: MCM, Inc. and we are grateful for their
generosity. In the past years, our outing experience has been quite successful due in part to Rolling Hills and its
excellent facilities and this year should be no different," said Stewart. "Our loyal participants have continued
to make this an enjoyable as well as a worthwhile experience. Sponsorships and individual support are greatly
appreciated by our attendees and non-participant supporters. We remain committed to the quality care and treatment
offered at The Jewish Home for the Elderly."
The morning will commence with a Pro-Am golf tournament at 7:15 a.m. and a breakfast buffet. The scenic Rolling
Hills terrace will provide the perfect setting for an outdoor lunch. Play will continue after lunch with the tennis
tournament and the golf tournament in a scramble format. Concluding the day will be a celebratory dinner reception,
tournament award presentations and a tribute to the legacy of George Lipton. All attendees have the opportunity to
participate in the evening’s raffle and Silent Auction.
