Absentee Ballots Cast at The Jewish Home with Fairfield Registrar of Voters helpers

Howard Ecker, of The Jewish Home for the Elderly, Fairfield, receives his American flag pin after completing his absentee ballot under the supervision of Linda Crowley and Wilma Swanson, both of Fairfield, representatives of the Registrar of Voters.


Sue Blumenstock, of The Jewish Home for the Elderly, Fairfield, receives her American flag pin from Carolyn Durgy, of Fairfield, representative of the Registrar of Voters' office, after completing her absentee ballot.


Sandra Levin, of The Jewish Home for the Elderly, Fairfield, completes her absentee ballot under the supervision of Carolyn Durgy, of Fairfield, representative of the Registrar of Voters' office.

Recently (10/17/07) residents of The Jewish Home for the Elderly, Fairfield, exercised their right to vote by casting absentee ballots under the supervision of Joann McMaster, Fairfield's Registrar of Voters and representatives of that office.

"The right to vote is extremely important," said Nora Link, of The Jewish Home. "As an American the right to vote is your birthright. There are people in other countries who would die for the rights we enjoy as Americans."

"The residents of The Jewish Home take voting very seriously," said McMaster. "It is always inspiring to come to the Home and observe the residents' patriotism."
